Social links presented to dubai police

November 27, the Social Links team spoke at the Digital Investigation Day organized by Scientific Analytical Tools (S.A.T.) and the Dubai Police.

The discussion focused on modern forensics methods, approaches and tools. Leaders in the field like Magnet Forensics, Cellebrite, SDL, Phonexia, Belkasoft, Elcomsoft and others joined the event.

Speakers have shared solutions in the field of Cloud, Mobile and Computer Forensic. These tools have already proved effectiveness.
Social Links stepped in with discussion about Open Source, Social Media and DarkWeb intelligence in Forensic investigations. OSINT and SOCMINT methods help significantly enhance forensics results, as well as raise investigative process efficiency. In particular, Social Links founders focused on such challenges as:
(1) Intelligence gathering methods on Social Media,
(2) application of Face recognition,
(3) search possibilities in Messengers,
(4) Dark Web investigations and
(5) Finding and gathering Social Media content based on geotags.

More and more crimes and evidence move online. Social Links experience shows that most Law Enforcement organizations are working towards more competence in Open Source, Social Media and DarkWeb Intelligence inside investigative departments. This usually means creating and training special OSINT teams that use cross-platform analytical tools, including tools developed by Social Links.

Our company has been working with Open Source, Social Media and DarkWeb Intelligence for more than 5 years. Law enforcement agencies from 50% of EU countries already use Social Links.
